This workshop is suitable both as a stand-alone course and as a complement to the 3-day workshop.
"This is a representational still life class working with soft pastels where all levels of artists, beginner through intermediate, will enjoy themselves. Students are invited to work along with Dianna's demo project (photo and drawing provided) or may opt to work entirely on subject matter of their own choosing."

If you are a soft pastel artist it is very unlikely that you haven't come across the work of Dianna Ponting. Dianna is an award winning Canadian artist and international juror who excels in the field of soft pastels. She is an elected member of the Pastel Society of America and holds Senior Signature status in the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Dianna's use of light, shadow and her ability to denote texture are nothing less than stunning. Dianna is an international artist and pastel instructor with students and patrons in both North America and Europe. She comes this way only once every few years so don't miss her.
